A short film about the LEAPS Summer School

In July 2006, university students from the Edinburgh Movie Production Society made a short film based around the experience of school-leavers attending the LEAPS Summer School. We liked the film so much that we now show it in schools to help potential Summer School students gain a realistic picture of what to expect if they enrol on our programme.

To make the film more widely available (particularly to parents and advisers of young people) we will be adding a shortened version to our website in the near future. Meanwhile, you can obtain a DVD of the film by contacting the LEAPS Office on 0131 650 4676.

3 High Flyers films
During June 2007 LEAPS worked with Pilton Video Project to capture the 3 High Flyers residential programme, a week long, university-based programme for S4 pupils from Castlebrae Community High School, Craigroyston Community High School and Wester Hailes Education Centre. We hope to add an edited version of the film here in the near future. Meanwhile if you took part in the 3 High Flyers week and would like to see the film contact Roy Crichton at the LEAPS office on 0131 650 4676 who will be happy to arrange a special screening (popcorn not included).
