The course aims to build confidence and skills in undertaking research, developing new ideas, experimenting with different materials and reflecting on the work you've done. You'll be working in a studio environment, and will also get the chance to visit a gallery mid-week.

The week is cost free and transport is provided between Galashiels and Edinburgh. For information on what to bring with you, please look at the application form for more details.

To be eligible for the Preparation Week, you need to be:
1. LEAPS eligible
2. Attending a Scottish Borders school
3. Currently in S6 (we will only accept applications from S5 pupils if they intend to apply via UCAS in S5)
