Our Schools
Our Schools
We currently work with state secondary schools throughout South East Scotland, which we divide into our Group 1+ schools, our Group 1 schools and our Group 2 schools. Please see below for more information.
The school groupings below are effective from August 2018 and will next be reviewed in the summer of 2020. (NB. If you would like to see our school groupings for the previous school year of 2017 to 2018, please contact us.)
LEAPS Group 1+ Schools
Schools in Group 1+ typically have rates of progression to higher education that are some way below the national average. For this reason, these schools are normally entitled to participate in all aspects of the LEAPS programme, from S3 to S6, as well as some bespoke activities.

Schools for Higher Education Programme (SHEP)
*These schools are considered to be target schools under the Schools for Higher Education Programme. SHEP is a national programme which is delivered by LEAPS in South East Scotland. Find out more about SHEP here.
Subject to funding confirmation, LEAPS hopes to begin working with an additional fourteen schools from the Forth Valley area during the 2019-2020 school year (please see schools listed below). We anticipate initially working with S5 students in these schools who match any of the LEAPS eligibility criteria. Our programme of delivery in these schools for the 2019-2020 school year is to be confirmed and discussions with these schools will take place throughout the year. We would hope to fully integrate these schools into the LEAPS programme from the 2020-2021 school year. Please check back for updates.
