LEAPS is a successful and unique widening participation programme which aims to encourage and advise young people who are underrepresented in higher education. We support LEAPS-eligible pupils across South East Scotland and the Forth Valley area. We are funded by our higher education institution and local council partners including Clackmannanshire Council, East Lothian Council, Edinburgh Council, Edinburgh Napier University, Falkirk Council, Heriot-Watt University, Midlothian Council, Queen Margaret University, SRUC, Scottish Borders Council, the University of Edinburgh, and West Lothian Council. LEAPS also delivers the Scottish Funding Council's Schools for Higher Education Programme (SHEP) in South East Scotland and the Forth Valley area, in partnership with the National Schools Programme (NSP), to support Senior Phase pupils in Scotland from backgrounds of socioeconomic disadvantage and underrepresented groups to access higher education at university. Please click on the images before to find out more about our funding partners. We are also thankful for the support we receive from organisations through our wider partnership work including Borders College, Edinburgh College, Forth Valley College, the Open University in Scotland, Skills Development Scotland, Stirling Council, the University of Stirling, and West Lothian College among others.
